So here is the surprise that is inside the book. I made an envelope to put some scriptures in for her to pull out for comfort or inspiration.

I placed five cards in to start with. They were printed on vellum and then put on scraps of the matching paper.

Here are all five of the cards I made.

I thought that I could send her a new scripture every now and then for her to place in the envelope

My prayer is that she can find peace in rest in the arms of Jesus

Carrie this is my absolute favorite! I love to journal and can never find journals I like. I feel like if my journals are truly an expression of me, and my legacy, I don't want someone else designing the exterior that holds my thoughts, dreams and aspirations! This is such a neat way to personalize journals. Did you just print on the vellum with your computer printer? Is the paper it is attached to scrapbook paper or card stock? Did you cover the front and back with scrapbook paper too and if so, what type of adhseive did you use? Sorry for all the questions, I just really love this project! As always, I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing all the creative things you come up with :)
