Give Away!!!!

I am going to tell you a story. A youth minister that we had at church use to do the announcement every Sunday morning and if you were a visitor we had a coffee mug with goodies in it for you. He would always announce that there was a free gift for the visitors that day if they hadn't received one yet. That statement "free gift" always bother me. If it was a gift wouldn't it be free? I called him on it and he stopped saying it but of course he had to tell everyone in the congregation that I had corrected him.

So I tell you that story to tell you this; I have a gift for someone. See the card above? I have made a card kit with 8 cards (including the one already made) for some lucky person.  I did this because when I see everyone making stuff I think Oh, if only I had that paper, or....darn I would need to go and buy that cartridges. I am sure you do the same thing.
Here is what you will receive in your card kit. EVERYTHING you need to make 7 cards. The only thing not included is the adhesive. They are all ready to go all you need to do is glue it down. So those of you who read my blog that maybe aren't so crafty or don't have a cricut this is for you too

Here is how you enter.
1. Just leave a comment with an email address to get a hold of you.

Yes, that is it! I really, really hate it when people make you jump through hoops for their give-away, so just leave a comment and I will pick a winner on Monday January 24, 2010.

P.S. I will include 8 envelopes too!

  3. Carrie, I read about your card kit, which interests me b/c I have been wanting to learn how to make them. I think the cupcake card you made is cuter than what I have seen in stores. I read some of your blogs & saw some of your creations. You are very talented & I look forward to reading more. If you need help making cards for church, I would love the opportunity to be involved & it would help me get some ideas & experience for myself. Great site!

  6. What a lovely gesture! I truly appreciate your word-smithing. A gift is just that - something given, with no strings attached. If I ever do a scrapbook blog I intend to have gifts of papers and elements and NO TOU! When we buy papers and embellishments the artists do not retain any rights or admonish the buyer about using them as a raw material on something to sell. This is very nice of you and I appreciate it, your attitude, and your generosity.
